DVX RTV Liquid Gasket Sealant is a professional, single-component, room-temperature vulcanizing (RTV) sealant designed to create durable and flexible seals in automotive, mechanical, and industrial applications.

Once applied, it cures at room temperature to form a permanently flexible sealing layer that helps fill gaps and prevent leaks. Its strong adhesion makes it suitable for a wide range of surfaces, particularly metal components, while maintaining reliable sealing performance under vibration and demanding operating conditions.

The formula offers high resistance to oils, diesel fuel, gasoline, seawater, gases, UV exposure, ozone, and challenging environmental conditions. With temperature resistance ranging from -60°C to +300°C (-76°F to +572°F), it is suitable for applications exposed to significant temperature variations.

It provides a practical sealing solution for irregular surfaces where conventional gasket materials may be difficult to use and can be used as an alternative to cork and rubber gaskets in suitable applications.

How to Use

1. Thoroughly remove dirt, dust, oil, rust, and old gasket residue from the application surface. Make sure the surface is clean and dry.
2. Apply the product evenly to the surface in a continuous layer or bead.
3. Join the components and secure them in place as required.
4. The recommended application temperature is between +5°C and +40°C (+41°F to +104°F).
5. Allow the product to cure before placing the assembled components into service. The product forms a surface skin shortly after application and cures at approximately 1.5 mm per day.

Application requirements may vary depending on the component and intended use.

Warnings

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Use in a well-ventilated area.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
• In case of skin contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
• Do not use for cleaning hands, face, body, or food-contact surfaces.
• Close the container tightly after use.
• Store in a cool, dry place.

Shelf Life

3 years when stored under appropriate conditions in a cool, dry place.

• Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Contents under pressure. Do not puncture or incinerate, and do not expose to temperatures above 122°F (50°C).

Unopened, unused products can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Aerosol products cannot be returned. If your order arrives damaged or leaking, contact us within 7 days and we will make it right.
